0x10c is a cancelled game project by Markus Persson. I worked on it for a bit, but I think Markus thought the game would never be good enough and decided to cancel it. 0x10c is free, so you can only get it from Bandcamp, linked here.
Will 0x10c ever be released?
0x10c was a game that was being developed by Notch and Mojang during 2012 and 2013 as a followup to Minecraft. It has since been cancelled, and at present it seems unlikely that Notch, or anyone currently working at Mojang, will resume its development.
Why did Notch make the Enderman?
If it wasn’t already very obvious, the Endermen were designed with the intention of being scary, and Notch seems pretty convinced he’s made them just that. So to really drive home the point of looking at them being bad, I made the Endermen freeze and turn towards you when you look at them.
