There are two ways to improve passive cooling.
- Cool Packs. Carefully pack some ice or cool packs into a plastic bag and put it on top of your wheel base.
- More/Bigger Ventilation Slots. If you open up your wheel base, you can see that most ventilation slots in the Logitech G27 are just a visual fake.
- Uncover the Grill.
Is the g27 wheel still good?
Overall the unit performs 100% and it is so much better and more fun than a controller. This is Logitech’s highest quality wheel and it shows. The wheel feels very solid as do the pedals, the stick shifter feels solid, but is more plastic than the other two parts.
