How to activate your card
- Use your debit card at any Visa ATM by entering the ATM PIN.
- Use your debit card with the ATM PIN at a Point of Sale (POS) terminal that supports Chip and PIN capability.

Can you activate a debit card online?
Many banks will allow you to activate your card online. Go to the bank’s website, sign in, and click on the “Customer Service” tab. Then, find the option for debit card activation and follow the prompts. Visit your bank to get your card activated in person.
How do I get my PIN for my HSBC debit card?
