How do I get my free PG&E refrigerator?
The head of the household must have an active PG&E account and must have a PG&E bill along with proof of income for each adult household member to fill out the application for the program. Also, only primary fridges are eligible, sub-metered fridges do not qualify at this time.

Does PG&E have senior discounts?
We do not offer a senior discount; however, we do offer discounts for certain medical needs through our Medical Baseline program. Depending on your income, we also offer a variety of income based programs you may be eligible for such as a the CARE discount or bill assistance.

Does PG&E verify income?
While we don’t require proof of income when you apply, at any time you may be selected to participate in the Post-Enrollment Verification process. At this time, you will be asked to provide income verification to continue receiving the monthly CARE discount.
Are save on energy programs available through Toronto Hydro?
Save on Energy programs available through Toronto Hydro will be cancelled as of April 1, 2019. However, the following programs are still available through the IESO: Home Assistance Program (HAP). To submit a new application, please contact the IESO at [email protected] or visit Save on Energy.
Is there a rebate on electricity bills in Ontario?
Ontario Electricity Rebate (OER) Eligible customers can receive a rebate on their electricity bills. Effective November 1, 2019, the Government of Ontario introduced the OER under the Ontario Rebate for Electricity Consumers Act, 2016. The OER provides eligible customers with a 33.2% rebate on their electricity bill.
What is the status of my retrofit application with Toronto Hydro?
Any Retrofit applications submitted to Toronto Hydro before April 1, 2019 and pre-approved by May 1, 2019 will continue to be managed by Toronto Hydro. Any applications that do not receive pre-approval by May 1, 2019 will be reassigned to the IESO.
