Where can I take my para test in Louisiana?
The Paraprofessional Test, offered under the auspices of the Educational Testing Services (ETS), is administered at the Professional Development Center located at 3000 N. Sherwood Forest Dr., Baton Rouge, LA 70814.
Is the ParaPro test the same in every state?
Scoring requirements for the ParaPro and similar assessment tests are set by each state and occasionally by the school district in which you will be working. You will need to contact the appropriate department within the state or school district in order to determine what passing score is required.
How long does the ParaPro test take?
What is the format and length of the test? This two-and-a-half-hour test consists of 90 selected-response questions in reading, writing and math. Approximately two-thirds of the questions focus on basic skills and knowledge and the remaining one-third focus on applying those skills and knowledge in a classroom setting.
Can you take the ParaPro online?
You can take the ParaPro test remotely on your own computer at home or another secure location. The test is monitored by a human proctor online through ProProctor ®, and appointments are available 8 a.m.–5 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday. If you don’t meet these requirements, you won’t be able to test at home.

How difficult is the ParaPro test?
The Parapro itself is a bit easier than the questions in this book. By the way, you can miss 6 questions and still get the highest possible score on the test, so if you prepare reasonably well, you should have no problem passing.
How is the ParaPro test scored?
ParaPro Scores Each correct answer gives you points. The total number of these points will give you a raw score. There is no penalty for the wrong answer and also no penalty for the missed question. There are only multiple-choice questions, so answers are scored by computer, not by individuals.

How do I schedule a ParaPro test?
See a list of ParaPro test centers. Once you select a test center, contact the center directly to schedule your test appointment. Note: Each local school district may not have specific test dates or test center information to provide if they are not administering the ParaPro Assessment.
How do I retake a ParaPro assessment?
Once you’ve confirmed that you meet the requirements, you can register and schedule your appointment through ProProctor. Whether you retake the test at home or at a test center, you cannot retake a ParaPro Assessment within 28 days of your test date. You must wait 28 days before taking the test again.
Do I have to take the ETS para-pro assessment?
If you do not meet the above test exemption guidelines, you are required to take the ETS Para-Pro Assessment. Please find more information below.
