The company of Hay was established in 2002 and is today a global enterprise with roots in the Danish town of Horsens. Probably only a few know that Kvist Industries of Denmark make several HAY chairs every week – with a little automation assistance from Q-System. Kvist Industries dates back to 1967.

Good legume hay has many characteristics that make it of special value to the dairy cattle. It has a higher percentage of digestible nutrients. The legume hays are particularly rich in calcium and generally palatable. Among various leguminous fodder crops lucerne, berseem, cowpea and soybean hays are considered first.
Can humans eat hay?
Can humans eat hay? Drying out grass in the form of hay does not break down the cellulose. Therefore, similarly to grass, hay is not edible for humans.
