Out of the box, a great harmonica. The reed plate edge is a little sharp so playing on the 1 can sometimes annoy my lip but otherwise comfortable if you like sandwich style harmonicas. It sounds great and looks quite nice. The notes bend well and I like how the MS series sound in general compared to Special 20.
What is the difference between Hohner Marine Band and Blues Harp?
The Marine Band harp has a richer tone – better for “straight harp,” but some folks have trouble bending notes on it. The Blues Harp (not to be confused with the Chinese toy “Blues Band” harmonica) has thinner reeds, which makes them easier to bend than the Marine Band’s reeds, but not as rich-sounding.
Are Hohner harmonicas any good?

In the key of C they both feel very responsive and fun to play, they are the best bang for the buck, and they will last a very long time.
