Is philosophy and ethics a religion a-level?
I know about the A level course but not the GCSE. Philosophy and Ethics does have some aspects of religion like how to be a good person (religion’s point of view vs philosopher’s point of view etc). So, I guess there will be some aspects of it, but you won’t be focusing on learning about a religion specifically.
Which GCSEs do you think will help you in the future?
Apart from GCSE Maths and English, both of which teach you basic and essential skills, no other GCSE will really help you for a future career since GCSE is a very introductory level. I know about the A level course but not the GCSE.
How many questions do you have to answer in the GCSEs?
You have to answer ONE question from two sections. Each question has five parts and is worth 27 marks. 3 of those marks are awarded for spelling, punctuation and grammar so be careful. Stick to the timings outlined on page 68 and keep an eye on the time.
