5.0 out of 5 stars Great Manga. Nichijou and Slice-of-life Fans will love! The manga is almost identical to the anime that was adapted back in 2011, but even so, this manga can be enjoyed regardless if you have seen the anime or not.

For anyone unfamiliar, Nichijou is a surreal slice-of-life manga that follows the lives of the various people living in the small town of Tokisadame and sports a trademark adorable art style.

The anime simply re-arranged this and some other events for convenience’s sake. I would still suggest reading it though, as while I am pretty sure most of the anime comes from scenes in the manga, the manga naturally has more content and as it is still running at time of writing, more will be added.

In the 2nd half of season, Nano starts to attend Tokisadame Highschool with the rest of the Nichijou cast (In the manga, she attends the school since the first chapters, with a flashback chapter about starting to go to school happening later).
