The fourth season of the Date A Live anime series, titled Date A Live IV, was produced by Geek Toys and directed by Jun Nakagawa. Like the rest of the series, it follows the adventures of Shido Itsuka. The season was scheduled to premiere in October 2021 but got delayed to 2022.

Do Shido and Tohka get together?
Tohka has very strong feelings for Shido, and eventually comes to realize she loves him. As he was the first person to ever truly accept her for who and what she is, and gave her a name, Tohka has become deeply attached to Shido, expressing great comfort and happiness whenever in his presence.

When he was killed by Isaac Ray Peram Westcott 30 years ago, Mio Takamiya (the First Spirit) kissed his body turning him into a light to absorbed him inside of her for his childbirth to brought him back to life and allowing him to absorb and seal Spirits’ powers within him by kissing them on the lips.
