Is there crocodiles on Fitzroy Island?
Always carry water and try to walk in the cooler part of the day. The high temperatures and humidity on the island can lead to heat exhaustion, even for fit walkers. Be aware that estuarine crocodiles can occur in waters around the islands and cays of North Queensland.

If I had to pick, I would recommend 2 days and 1 night to explore the entire Island. However, it is possible to do all of the walks, snorkel with the turtles and enjoy all of the great things to do on Fitzroy Island in one big day.
