Though Sket Dance can be seen as the little sibling of Gintama since Shinohara-sensei used to be assisting in Gintama, and therefore people only see it as a discount version of Gintama.

Basically, SKET Dance is Gintama in school format and not perverted as Gintama. I recommend this to all Gintama fans and school-related anime fans out there! Although sket has a different setting than gintama both are gag animes with tons of fun and 4th wall breaking scenes!

They’re both very good series. This is similar to Gintama because of the “helping” part. well both of Sket Dance and Gintama have a trio that helps people which are usually odd jobs. and they rely on parodies of other franchises such as Shounen series for their humor.

I’m surprised I still remember a lot of things from the show and that shows how much love I have for Sket Dance. Definitely VERY underrated and definitely one of the BEST anime series I’ve ever watched and that’s coming from a person who watched LOTS.. and I mean LOTS of anime growing up..
