Can I study CFA in 3 months?
CFA candidates usually start preparing from 6 to 4 months before their exam. However, this does not mean 3 months are not enough. On average, it takes about 300 study hrs to prepare for the CFA level 1 exam. To get those 300 hrs, you’ll need to devote around 22 study hrs per week.

Are formulas provided in CFA exam?
Before you freak out, it’s not really so bad. While formulas become crucial on the CFA level 2 exam and its quantitative focus, the formulas on the first exam are much more about learning relationships and the process. Learn the ‘why’ of the formula and you’ll remember how to work it on the exam easily.
What is the pass mark for CFA Level 1?
The Minimum Passing Score (MPS) set by the CFA® Institute will never be higher than 70%. This means that the highest score bracket for passing a specific topic is 70%-100%, but you do not need to reach that in every topic to pass, as long as you can make up for losses in another topic.
Does CFA expire?
No. Your results do not expire.
Is Wiley enough for CFA Level 1?
the curriculum is very detailed and has lots of examples to help you understand the concepts. Doing the end of chapter problems is a must though. Schweser is very helpful for Level 1 though, okay for level 2, and definitely not enough for level 3.
Is Kaplan worth it for CFA?
The Kaplan Schweser prep is definitely my go-to when it comes to studying for the CFA. I’ve used it for all 3 levels and the readings are very succinct and to the point without the background and history that’s often incorporated in the CFA texts.
