What are cycling stunts called?
Motorcycle stunt riding, often referred to as stunting, is a motorcycle sport characterized by stunts involving acrobatic maneuvering of the motorcycle and sometimes the rider. Common maneuvers in stunt riding include wheelies, stoppies, and burnouts. Sport bikes have become a common vehicle for stunts.
How do you do a wheelie?
Steps:
- Put the bike into a medium or low gear and begin at rolling speed.
- Crouch your upper body so your weight is over the handlebars.
- Turn the cranks to the 11:00 position.
- Pedal down and pull up on the handlebars simultaneously.
- Immediately lean back – as if you were in a rocking chair – and continue pedaling.
What stunts can you do with a motorcycle?
Always make sure to wear a helmet, gloves, ankle supportive shoes, elbow and knee guards. This is one of the easiest stunts that you can perform with a motorcycle. Pump wheelies can be performed with any motorcycle with little effort but for power wheelie, you will need a powerful motorcycle.

Stoppie can be practiced while doing slow speed of around 20-25 km/h. Jamming the front brake suddenly will bring the rear tyre up in the air.
