Are Mizuno MP59 irons good?
PROS: With their thin topline and minimal offset, the MP59’s are one of the best looking irons in the address position on the market, if you like the look of a traditional muscle back blade. They are very forgiving of slight mishits. The sole glides through the turf and trajectory control is outstanding.

How does Mizuno measure club length?
Apply the sole to the plate set to the design lie angle, and set the heel end at the point of 3/8 inch from the base point of the plate. The distance between the “set heel end” and the “grip cap line” is the club length.
Does Mizuno upcharge for shafts?
Mizuno do not currently charge for a custom built set – for either labour or custom components (shafts / grips). However fitting sessions are mostly carried out by independent fitters at our retail outlets – each with their own pricing structure. Often the cost will be redeemed against any subsequent orders.

What year did mp59 come out?

What length should my iron shafts be?

What is the difference between Mizuno irons and woods irons?
Irons can be built from 1″ shorter than standard up to a maximum of 1.5″ longer than standard. Woods can be built +/- 1″ from standard length but the swingweight will increase by 3 points for every +1/2″ and reduce by 3 points for every -1/2″. Mizuno irons can be adjusted to varying degrees depending on model and material type.
Can I adjust the loft or lie on my Mizuno shafts?
No loft or lie adjustments can be made to drivers or fairway woods. No loft angle adjustment is possible for JPX Fli-Hi and Hybrid models. Mizuno fit .580 core grips as standard to all men’s steel shafts with the exception of Dynamic Gold R300 (as they have a smaller butt size a .560 is used).
Does the mp-59 play like a different set of irons?
What’s simply impossible to see from the data is that the MP-59 played, based on who was swinging it, almost like two different sets of irons. While the expectation is that a forged player’s cavity back with close to standard lofts (some might consider the short irons slightly jacked up) would play shorter.
