Whats in ParaCore?

ParaCore is a dual-cured, glass–reinforced, radiopaque composite system for core-build up. The well-known material simplifies the post & core restorative technique, because it is ideal for post cementation and core-build ups.

Does ParaCore need to be refrigerated?

Refrigeration required; this product is stored under refrigeration at Safco.

Is ParaCore dual cure?

ParaCore is a dual-cured, glass-reinforced, radiopaque composite system available in three shades. The well-known 3-in-1 material simplifies the post & core restorative technique, because it is ideal for post cementation, core-build ups and crown & bridge cementation.

What is ParaPost?

ParaPost system is a universal endodontic post system for direct post and core buildups and all casting techniques. Posts are passive cemented and parallel-sided, available in either stainless steel or titanium.

What is a ParaPost?

What are resin cements?

Resin cements are the luting agents of choice for bonding metal, ceramic and indirect composite restorations. Resin cements are typically diacrylate resins containing 50-80% glass filler particles with most particles less than 1.0 µm in size.

What type of cement do dentists use?

Zinc Phosphate: Known as the original cement, zinc phosphate is used for preparing crowns, inlays, onlays, orthodontic appliances, and partial dentures. This cement composition produces high compressive strength, an acceptable film thickness, and high tensile strength that makes it hard to beat.

How do you use a ParaPost?

ParaPost Fiber Lux is seated in post space, and cement is light-cured (if using a light- curing cement). Excess adhesive/conditioner removed with a paper point. Coat post with cement, and introduce into post space with paper point or Lentulo Spiral. Preparation of post space with ParaPost size #4.5 drill.

What is ParaPost made of?

ParaPost X Posts are made from Ti6AL4V titanium alloy which is twice as strong as pure titanium.

What is an advantage of a resin based cement?

What is an advantage of resin-based cement? It increases fracture resistance of crowns and restorations and it bonds with dentin.

How to use paracore fiber post coating?

The fibre post can be coated with Paracore and inserted into the prepared post space. The post should be held in place and light cured for 20 seconds. Now the super fine tip can be cut in the middle to increase the flow of material and the core build up free hand incrementally. This is cured for 20 seconds.

Why paracore cementation?

Paracore provides an unique advantage as it can be used for Post cementation, core build up and also for crown cementation. The use of Paracore in both cementation of post, followed by core build up, provides a ‘monoblock effect’, which increases the strength of the restoration.

What is paracore dual-cured composite?

DUAL CURING CORE & RESIN CEMENT ParaCore dual-cured is a glass-reinforced composite, which is radiopaque and available in three shades, dentin, white and translucent. ParaCore is based on our decades of experience and expertise in the areas of composite, bonding and endodontic posts.

Is paracore a good material for crowns?

It is a composite material and you will have to isolate the tooth properly. If you can achieve isolation, Paracore will provide a predictable long term result for fiber post and core build up. It can be used for cementation of crowns. I hardly use it for that as I am not a fan of glass reinforced composite for cementation of crowns.
