Based on tripadvisor reviews, we drove out to Rodeo Beach today in hopes of seeing whales rather than going all the way to Pt Reyes (twice as far away). We did not see any whales, but were thrilled with Rodeo Beach. It’s a beautiful stretch of sand with rock cliffs on both sides.
