When you choose good karma, you only raise your karma during battle if you have a way to subdue enemies, and you need to find good karma actions on the map. On the contrary, when playing with evil karma, all kills count towards your rampage and you can go ahead and just kill random civilians to boost your karma.

With Infamous 1 & 2 I found that good was always the more fun option, having better powers & having the people help you. But, what I’ve been experiencing with Second Son is completely different; it’s actually way more fun to be evil. At first I didn’t enjoy it, as I was trying to find new tactics that work with being evil.
