In 2006, CVS Corporation acquired MinuteClinic. Also in 2006, MinuteClinic became the first retail clinic provider to earn accreditation from the Joint Commission.
How do I get my CVS MinuteClinic records?
To inspect or obtain a copy of your PHI, submit a written request to the MinuteClinic Privacy Office. You may also ask us to provide a copy of your PHI to another person or entity. A reasonable fee may be charged for the expense of fulfilling your request as permitted under HIPAA and/or state law.
Does CVS do Covid testing?
MinuteClinic uses multiple types of COVID-19 testing to check for active infection. Most rapid-result testing locations perform antigen testing. Limited rapid-result locations and all drive-thru lab testing locations perform PCR/NAAT testing.
Can you get a Covid test without insurance?
Low or no-cost COVID-19 tests are available to everyone in the U.S., including the uninsured, at health centers and select pharmacies nationwide. Additional testing sites may be available in your area. Contact your health care provider or your state or local public health department for more information.
How does CVS Covid testing work?
Drive-thru testing When patients arrive for their appointment, they are required to stay in their cars and go to the CVS Pharmacy drive-thru window to complete their test. Testing is supervised by a local MinuteClinic provider, and CVS Pharmacy team members oversee the collection of specimens at the drive-thru window.

How do I get my Covid test results from CVS?
We’ll text you a secure link to view your results. They’ll be available to view and download for 5 days. account and view your results. Activate MyChart if you’ll need permanent access to your result.
How can I get my CVS records?
Just sign in to your account and click on Pharmacy. From the Pharmacy page, click on Prescription Center and then select the Prescription History tab. On this page, you’ll see a detailed prescription history, including information on refills, date of last fill and amount paid. You also can print prescription records.
How much does Covid test cost at CVS?
The cost for lab testing is $139, which includes $100 for the independent laboratory that processes your test and $39 for your MinuteClinic visit.
